When someone asks me a question to the effect of, ‘which living celebrity do you most respect,’ if I don’t say Bono, I usually at least consider him for a moment. In addition to being a part of one of the greatest rock bands of all time, which frankly doesn’t matter, he’s probably one of, if not the most, articulate, wise and giving humans I’ve never had the chance to meet. If only everyone in his position could do a little good for the world. Yeah, I know, plenty of them do charity work, but I just like Bono. I like what he has to say.

Marlon Brando deserves a mention as well. He did a lot for the Native American Population. He also fought for causes that were not “Politcially Correct” such as the Black Panthers and the State of Israel.
