Digital sales exploding as Apple muscles to the number three spot in music sales

Market research firm NPD Group is reporting that Apple has moved into the number three slot when it comes to music sales, surpassing Amazon and trailing only brick-and-mortar giants Wal-Mart and Best Buy.
