An interesting essay from Paul Graham about how we can waste time. His point: it’s easy to be aware of wasting your time if you’re being self-indulgent or lazy, i.e. watching movies all day. It’s more difficult to perceive your waste of time if the waste occurs when you’re working, because while working we feel that we’re serving a duty. But we all need to become more aware of making sure that our every day—particularly when working—makes a difference.
